Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Officially Unveiled in China

Xiaomi has announced Mi Note 2 at an event in China and it could possibly be the best alternative of Galaxy Note 7. Mi Note 2 has already won the hearts of many with its dual curved display packed with amazing features. Mi Note 2 features all the exciting stuff e.g. a bigger battery, out of the box latest SoC and RAM, vibrant display and reasonable price. Due to current ongoing Galaxy Note Saga, Xiaomi has chosen a great timing to launch Mi Note 2.
Design:
Mi Note 2 has a very balanced and smooth design and a first non-Samsung phone to feature dual-curved display. It has an aluminum frame and a glass back with curved edges, and uses a flexible OLED display to allow curved edges to the front too. Mi Note features a Fingerprint sensor, which sits below the screen and keeps the lower bezel relatively slim, allowing Mi Note 2 a screen-to-body ratio of 77.2%. USB Type-C port is fixed at the bottom of the body and 3.5 mm headphone jack is placed at the top of the smartphone.
Performance:
Mi Note 2 has a 5.7-inch curved OLED screen along with Full HD 1080p display. Smartphone Dimensions are Height 156.2mm, Width 77.3mm, Thickness 7.6mm and it weighs 166g. Mi Note 2 comes with Android Marshmallow 6.0. This smartphone is packed with some really exciting hardware features including latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC and an Adreno 530 GPU. To support heavy duty SoC, it has equally faster 6GB / 4GB of RAM. Mi Note 2 also has 64GB / 128GB Internal Storage without the option of microSD.
Camera and Battery:
Mi Note 2 also features some really exciting rear and front shooters. At Rear it features 22.56 megapixels Sony IMX318 Exmor RS sensor with large f/2.0 aperture, 4k Video recording, EIS, PDAF phase detection, Auto-Focus. Mi Note 2 has 8 megapixels Front facing shooter with large f/2.0 aperture and have improved Beautify 3.0 image processing technology. To Back large display, it has equally larger 4070mAh battery which supports Fast Charge 3.0.

Price, Colors and Availability:
The Mi Note 2 will be available in two colors Glacier Silver and Piano Black. Mi Note 2 will be available in three different versions according to RAM and ROM. These will be priced at ¥2799 (~$415) for 4GB RAM / 64GB ROM version, ¥3299 (~$490) for 6GB RAM / 128GB ROM variant and a global variant 6GB RAM / 128GB ROM will be priced at ¥3499 (~$ 515). The Mi Note 2 will be available in China from November 1st but Xiaomi has not stated about the release in other countries. Like the case in Mi Note, which was released only in China, Mi Note 2 seems to be follow the same trend.
